Monday Music Mambo - Week 49

Announcement:
Before we begin with the Mambo we need to be made aware of something very important.  In recent weeks the Mambo and the Hump have been suffering. Some weeks we've only had 2-3 people participating.  I've received email expressing concern that BDI is seeing it's final days and may be abandoned due to lack of interest.  I can assure y'all that we will keep BDI alive as long as we possibly can -- as long as our energy and creativity lasts.  Yes, it can be discouraging but as long as there are even a couple of people doing The Mambo and The Hump we will continue to do our best to spread the insanity and share the love.

How can you help?  Be sure that when you Mambo or Hump that you post in the comments so others can come by and be amazed by your dazzling Mambo'ing and Humping and also be sure to link back to http://bdinsanity.blogdrive.com so others can come and join in the fun.  That being said ...

let's dance, shall we?

BDI Monday Music Mambo - Week 49

01.  In recent years advertisers have been using popular music in commercials.  Name two or three of your favorite songs and what product/service those songs might represent.

02.  You are taking a road trip and can only take one cd with you.  Which cd would it be?

03.  If your pillow played music that relaxed you and helped put you to sleep, what song or music would it play?

The rules are easy! Just copy and paste the above questions into your blog and add your responses. After you've finished, return here and leave us a comment so we'll know you've Mamboed.  Also be sure that your Mambo is linked back to http://bdinsanity.blogdrive.com so others can come and join the dance.   If you don't have a blog or you're an exhibitionist *heh heh* feel free to Mambo right here in our comments section.  There's absolutely no pressure ... although it's called the Monday Music Mambo, you can Mambo on any day.  Of course, the answers will be included in next weeks Mambo.

Do you like the Mambo? Want to share it with all of blogdom? Invite your friends onto our crazy dance floor by directing them to http://bdinsanity.blogdrive.com/

Until next week, you mad Mambo'ers, keep dancing like crazy!

Wednesday Mind Hump - Week 58

BDI Wednesday Mind Hump - Week 58

Yes, the hour is late -- very late.  Your Flippin' Mental Mememeister has been struggling with the airline powers that be to get back home.  After leaving for LAX airport at 2:30PM Pacific Time on Tuesday I have only just now arrived home (over 20 hours later) so let's get our hump on because even a late hump is better than no hump at all.

Today's celebration is "Macaroni Self-Portrait Day".  Let's warm up for the hump by describing three creative way you can express yourself with macaroni -- or pasta of any type -- then, LET'S HUMP!

01.  If you were to go 50 years back in time, what modern convenience would you take with you and why.  Would you give the real inventor credit for the invention or would you take the credit for yourself?

02.  If you were putting together a time capsule that reflects your life today, what things would you put in the time capsule and why.  How many years would you wait before you unearth it again?

03.  If you could make one change in your life, what would it be?  If you could make one change in your town, what would it be?  If you could make one change in your country, what would it be.  If you could make one change in the world, what would it be?

Until next week this is your Flippin' Mental Mememeister saying share the love, spread the insanity and remember -- we don't suffer from insanity, we enjoy every minute of it!

The rules are ... THERE ARE NO RULES!  Just remember to leave a comment (not a tag) so we'll know that you've humped and link your hump back to http://bdinsanity.blogdrive.com so others can come and hump along. Okies?

Wednesday Mind Hump - Week 57

BDI Wednesday Mind Hump - Week 57

Greetings humpers and humpettes. Today, April 20th, 2005 we salute the Lima Bean -- the often misunderstood veggie. Isn't that just a gas?   *heh heh*   Today's hump is two, two, two humps in one -- it's the warm up and the hump combined -- here we go ....

You're on a first date. You and your date have eaten at a fancy restuarant and are cuddling in a booth, sharing dessert.  One of the dishes served has made you a little gassy. You're cuddling and all of a sudden you "let one slip" -- how do you handle it.  What if your date is the one to "break wind" -- do you say anything or are you polite.  If either of those things happen again, do you date that person again?  In real-life, besides blaming it on the dog, what creative ways have you "covered up".  As uncomfortable as it is, we have all had embarrassing but funny "gas incidents". Do you have a real-life "gas" story that concerns you or someone else?

Until next week this is your Flippin' Mental Mememeister saying share the love, spread the insanity and remember -- we don't suffer from insanity, we enjoy every minute of it!

The rules are ... THERE ARE NO RULES! Just remember to leave a comment so we'll know that you've humped and link your hump back to http://bdinsanity.blogdrive.com so others can come and hump along. Okies?

Crazy LOVE and Insane HUGS!!!!

* Credit *  This hump was inspired by  real-life conversation and was submitted by a BDI member who has asked to remain anonymous.  Thanks "Anonymous" -- you know who you are.  lol
